Remembrance Day

This weekend marks the 100th anniversary of the Armistice.  On the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918, WW1 (The Great War) ended.  Since then, we have marked November 11th as a time to remember the fallen and reflect upon our freedoms.

You are invited to join this Sunday’s Remembrance Day services here in Stittsville.  A parade will begin at the Legion at 1:30 PM, ending at the cenotaph outside the Johnny Leroux Arena.  The wreath laying ceremony will begin at 2 PM; all are welcome.
