Last weekend, A Company of Fools’ outdoor presentation of William Shakespeare’s “Twelfth Night” came to Alexander Grove Park in Stittsville.
It was a well attended event with approximately 70 Stittsville residents and families stopping by to enjoy the performance. The weather was perfect despite a small rain delay for about 5 minutes but the actors managed professionally and resumed the play all the way to its conclusion.
I would like to thank the theatre company and its actors for bringing the show out to our neck of the woods. The arts are alive and well in Stittsville!
I hope that this event helps to showcase our parks as an excellent venue for future “found-space” performances to take place in the Stittsville community. I hope that everyone had a great time!
