Committee of Adjustment Application for 12 & 14 Manchester, 6191 & 6195 Abbott W

The City’s Committee of Adjustment will be considering some planning applications pertaining to Stittsville. The meeting is open to the public and will be held on Wednesday, March 7, 2018, starting at 9:00 a.m. at Ben Franklin Place, The Chamber, Main Floor, 101 Centrepointe Drive.  For more information, please visit here and scroll down to the meeting date.

 

The Owner has submitted an application to demolish the existing dwelling at 12 Manchester and construct four, one-storey detached dwellings, as shown on plans filed with the Committee. As noted on the legal description, the property consists of four full lots on a Plan of Subdivision. The Consent of the Committee is not required to facilitate the construction of the four proposed dwellings. The property is located here and residents in the immediate area of the site have been notified.

 

In order to proceed, the Owner requires the Authority of the Committee for Minor Variances from the Zoning By-law as follows:

A-00024: (12) Manchester Street, (Lot 12) on the Plan of Survey filed with the applications, proposed detached dwelling.

  • To permit a reduced lot width of 17.68 metres whereas the By-law requires a minimum lot width of 20 metres.
  • To permit a reduced lot area of 558 square metres whereas the By-law requires a minimum lot area of 600 square metres.

 

A-00025: (14) Manchester Street (Lot 11) on the plan filed, proposed detached dwelling.

  • To permit a reduced lot width of 17.68 metres whereas the By-law requires a minimum lot width of 20 metres.
  • To permit a reduced lot area of 558 square metres whereas the By-law requires a minimum lot area of 600 square metres.

  • To permit a reduced lot width of 17.69 metres whereas the By-law requires a minimum lot width of 20 metres.
