Since initially sharing the news regarding the Bradley-Craig barn earlier this week, I have been receiving a great deal of feedback from residents in the community. I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for their engagement with this important piece of Stittsville heritage. While there is still a great deal of work ahead for Richcraft, the City, and our community, I am optimistic that the barn will continue to serve as a unique historical site within our village.
Stittsville Family Photo at the Bradley-Craig Barn
This Sunday at noon, the “Friends of the Bradley-Craig Farm” are organizing a community photo in front of the Bradley-Craig Farm on Hazeldean Road with the positive news from Richcraft about their plans for the landmark barn’s future.
Participants are invited to wear period costumes (however, everyone is welcome to come as they are) and the photo will be taken shortly after 12:00 noon.
Richcraft Group of Companies would like to make certain that no one is to consider this an invitation to enter the property. By no means should anyone from the public go onto the property, and by no means approach or enter the barn/house. *This is an active work site with Health and Safety regulations being monitored by the Ministry of Health. Richcraft does not condone and cannot accept liability for trespassing.
I hope that residents of our community take the time to stop by to see the barn in person as we look forward to what changes may take place in its future.
