Mayor’s 17th Annual Christmas Celebration

Ho ho ho! The Mayor’s 17th Annual Christmas Celebration is coming to City Hall on Saturday, December 9, 2017.

From 2-6 PM, residents are invited to come and celebrate the season in the fresh outdoors on Marion Dewar Plaza. Roast marshmallows, sing Christmas songs around camp fires, and skate on the Sens Rink of Dreams, all while enjoying BeaverTails and live entertainment on site!

Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive from the North Pole and will be housed in their very own outdoor cabin. And be sure to dress warmly as horse-drawn wagon rides will be trotting through the downtown streets surrounding City Hall. Then, head inside to make a craft in Santa’s Workshop!

Admission is free if you bring a nonperishable donation to the Ottawa Food bank.

OC Transpo will offer free bus rides on all routes to and from City Hall from 1:30 to 6:30 p.m. to children 11 and under when accompanied by a fare-paying adult.

I hope that all residents make the most of this fun-filled Christmas event!
