A little courtesy, goes a long way!
Over the past few weeks, many Stittsville residents have been making great use of the Trans Canada Trail! Seeing so many people walking and riding bicycles along the trail is wonderful and it’s the perfect reminder that enjoying this trail depends on the choices and actions of all people using it. Respect for others is essential whether you’re walking or rolling down the trail alone, with others or out with your pets – remember courtesy is key. Communicate by ringing your bell or try a simple ‘hello’ and always remember to leave lots of space when passing. This will help make sure everyone can enjoy our beautiful trails together.
I encourage all residents to make the most of this lovely fall weather and take a walk/run/bike on our beautiful Trans Canada Trail before it gets too cold and winter is upon us once again. Thank you for being courteous.
