Registration for the Planning Primer I: Legislative Background and Policy Documents

Have you ever wanted to learn more about Planning in the City of Ottawa? Now is your chance!

On September 16 and 18, 2017, Planning Primer I will be taking place at Ottawa City Hall discussing Legislative Background and Policy Documents. This is a great introductory session for any residents interested in how planning works from a municipal perspective.

The meetings will be held from 8:30AM – 12:00PM in the Colonel By Boardroom (second floor) of City Hall (110 Laurier Ave W). A French version of the presentation will also take place September 25th.

Residents can register for the course online until September 15, 2017. Seating is limited to 40 attendees per session.

The Planning, Infrastructure and Economic Development Department offers the Planning Primer Program to help residents become more aware of, and more involved in, the land-use planning process.  The program is a series of half-day courses.

I highly encourage all residents to stop by this educational and interesting seminar.
