Blackstone Breakfast Recap

Bouncy castles, sidewalk chalk and bike safety! I would like to take a moment to thank all residents who were able to join me and my team last weekend for the Blackstone Pancake Breakfast in the Park!

The weather cooperated nicely and I was honoured to be able to speak with you about your thoughts and questions regarding the community. And the pancakes were great too!

I would like to thank Mayor Watson for being able to join us for such a special event as well as all of those who helped to make the event such a success – Enbridge for preparing the flapjacks, Mattamy Homes for inflating and supervising the bouncy castle, Safer Roads Ottawa for providing their bicycle safety tips, the Stittsville Food bank for accepting donations, Cardel Homes for their support, Ellie Tucker for selling her beautiful handmade jewelry, and Ottawa Public Health and Crime Prevention Ottawa for being on hand to deliver information to inquisitive residents.

I hope that everyone had their fill of pancakes and had a wonderful time as I know I certainly did!
