On June 6th, the Stittsville Library is hosting a special event on “Canadian Historic Battlefields”.
Visit some of the most iconic historic locales of the twentieth century, from Amsterdam to Paris to Gllipoli. Guest speaker, Al Sangster, will focus on WW1 and WW2 battlegrounds and memorial sites, as well as associated historic towns and villages.
The event will take place at the Stittsville Library (1637 Stittsville Main St) from 7:00-8:30 PM, June 6th.
I encourage all residents with an interest in history to join the event. Online registration is required and can be completed by visiting the Ottawa Public Library website here.
