Western Ottawa Community Resource Centre – Your Health and Wellbeing Matters

The Western Ottawa Community Resource Centre (WOCRC) would like to invite residents to assist in exploring a snapshot of the health and wellbeing of people living in our West-Ottawa communities.

The “Be Well” survey covers many important aspects that affect your health and wellbeing. The information you provide will help your health organization develop a better understanding of what is keeping you well and what will help support the best health and wellbeing for everyone in Ontario.

With this survey data, WOCRC aims to better understand the wellbeing needs of Ottawa’s far-west and rural communities, while making comparisons with communities across the city, province and country.

Participation in the survey ends March 8, 2017. It should only take about 10-15 minutes to complete and all information is strictly confidential.

The survey is available at the following link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/WOCRC

New WOCRC Executive Director

In other Western Ottawa Community Resource Centre (WOCRC) news, I would like to wish a fond and happy retirement to former executive director and Stittsville resident, Cathy Jordan. Cathy has served the WOCRC for a number of years and I wish her the most sincere of congratulations as she takes this step into the next part of her life.

Taking her stead as Executive Director is Melody Paruboczy. Welcome to the WOCRC, Melody. I look forward to working with you.
