“Sleep Out for Youth” is a powerful annual campaign which raises funds for homeless youth in Ottawa. Each year, more than 1000 young people will spend the winter without the safety and protection of a roof over their heads, something that many of us take for granted.
This event, organized by the Youth Services Bureau challenges teams to experience just one night of what homeless youth spend months overcoming in order to appreciate what it means to live a life of privilege.
On December 1st, teams will sleep out at TD Place stadium. You can also participate by sponsoring a team, many of whom are from Stittsville.
