“Responsible Dog Owners’” – Clean-up Day

dogsdog2Calling all responsible dog owners!

On Saturday September 10th at 9 a.m. Responsible Dog Owners of Canada (RDOC) will be meeting near the Trans Canada Trail at the corner of Abbott Street East and Granite Ridge Road to help clean up the area. They will be handing out gloves and bags and the occasional dog treat to all those who can come to help clean up this beautiful natural area for both our canine and human friends.

RDOC is a registered non-profit organization comprised of volunteers. To get involved or learn more about the clean-up date, please visit http://www.responsibledogowners.ca.

Please note however that this is private property owned by a developer and is not maintained by the City and I am not aware that any person has permission to access the property.  The land is planned for future development but residents have been using the area for a while for dog walking, but again I must stress any use is at your own risk and it is private property.
