On August 18th, I will be participating in the Heart and Stroke’s Big Bike Event. This is my fourth year being a part of this excellent fundraiser and I would like to invite all residents to join me in raising funds for support of patients with cardiovascular disease.
Cardiovascular disease is a leading cause of death for Canadian men and women. So our team is going to be participating in the Heart&Stroke Big Bike alongside the Stittsville Lions Club, to help create more survivors!
Since there’s strength in numbers, we want you to join us! Will you help us be the most successful Big Bike team by making a donation today?
All of the money raised through Big Bike will go to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, where they’ll use it to develop life-saving treatments that bring hope to heart disease and stroke patients.
In the last year alone, the Heart and Stroke Foundation has helped to create 165,000 survivors. It’s only with our help that they can continue to fund this vital research, and return more survivors home to their loved ones.
I would like to see as many residents as possible make it out to this great event and help support patients with cardiovascular disease. I have high hopes that this year we will not be cycling in the rain as the last 3 years but the event will proceed either way!
